am i kick counting right?

My dr told me to start kick counting this week. He gave me a form to keep track of the counts with directions that say to monitor kick for 1 hr and to call if I feel less then 10. The past 4 days I have counted 10 kicks within the first 15 mins and stopped there. Today I counted 20 kicks in the first 5 mins. And that was with counting each cluster of movements once. Its like an almost constant earthquake in my belly today. Is this normal? Is there such a thing as too much movement? Am I not counting right? I'm 28w 5d today. TIA!

Also agree with the above. No such thing as too much movement. As you get further along and your baby has less room the movements won't be quite as much

My Dr told me it's 10 within 2 hours. But I know all drs are different. And it's not just kicks it's 10 movements. They also suggested to drink some juice and lie on your left side and the best time to do it is after you have eaten. Good luck!

No there's not too much movement. That's fine. They just want make your getting at least 10 an hr more is normal.
