Anyone switched OBS in third trimester?

I recently moved but work close to my OB.  However, I haven't been thrilled this time around with the way they are handling my back/pelvis/nerve issues.

I hurt my lower back at about 5 weeks pregnant, I believe it initially happened playing volleyball a week or two before I knew I was pregnant. I was sitting on the couch and went to stand up.  I felt a pop/grind immediately my legs gave out felt burning tingling in lower back pelvic region , lost feeling and couldn't move my legs for five minutes.  When my husband helped me up I fainted and went to the ER.  The ER doc didn't touch or assess my back - he passed it off as a pregnancy hormone complications even though I couldn't put any pressure on my legs until hours later.  Said my blood pressure was dropping when I stood and was dehydrated.  Followed up with the PA at my primary care as instructed who had me bend to touch my toes and say that my muscles were spasmed.  All without touching the location I hurt.  They sent me to PT and he said my right SI joint was locked.  He released me after three visits saying it will just keep popping out and nothing can be done until after delivery and hormones go back to normal.  I expected more pain from the pregnancy but not until 30+ weeks.  I'm almost 29 and since week 22 I can barely walk at times - mostly at night.  It feels like my right, lower back/hip is going to give out or break.  It takes a while but eventually gets better but is always sore.  This morning I woke up and am having issues on the left side.  My outer thigh (skin) has been numb all day. I know this could all be normal but I'm concerned there may be more damage to my lower back/pelvis and every Dr. I have seen is dismissing my concerns and hasn't physically touched my back.  My OB rotates you through every Dr in the office because whoever is on call will deliver the baby.  I feel like they don't look at the chart before they come in... are always being then rush me out.  I've worn the pelvic support belt as suggested but that doesn't help.  Now they want to send me back to PT for home exercises.

I saw my anatomy ultrasound report online that said there was a choroid plexus cyst on the babies brain that is considered normal when no other findings are present.  When I went to the Dr after the results were available they didn't even mention this finding.  I understand if they don't want to worry the mother for no reason but I feel that was information they should have mentioned.

Combined with all of this and my move which is about 30 miles farther away from the Dr and hospital they deliver out of.  Would anyone switch doctors this late?  Has anyone switched OB/GYNS in the 3rd trimester?

I have switched when i was pregnant with my 3rd son from a midwife to a regular obgyn.  When the was pregnant with my 1st son i feel off a 2 step ladder and broke my tailbone,  it healed just enough to re - break when I gave birth. But back problems also run in my family and it sounds like you have a crushed or blugging discuss in your lower back. They most likely can't determine what's exactly wrong till after birth but I definitely switch to a better doctor.  They might want to even take extra precautions when you give birth because of loosing the and mobility of your legs. I deal with extra back n body pain everyday and being 30 weeks with my youngest son at 2 yrs old.. I can't imagine not being able to walk! God Bless you and your baby!  Also about your baby's scan I would ask your new doctor to redue it. And see if any other tests are needed to make sure your baby is healthy!

Switch. Nothing worse than going to a doc where you're just a number.  Request all your records and have them handed to you that way they can't "forget".
