Ella Sofia is here
I just wanted everyone to know Ella Sofia safely arrived on March 17th ♣at 10:23 am via csection. I was 41 weeks and 4 days trying to attempt a vba2c but everything happens for a reason and I now know why I wasn't going into labor. This lil missy was not so lil weighing in at 10 lbs 15 oz and 22.5 in. You know your baby is big when even the doctor gasps when pulling her out (prior to my csection she had told me she thought she would be around 8.5 lbs by feeling around my tummy. The csection took much longer than my previous two which each took about forty minutes. This one was close to two hours. Luckily I opted in to them doing a spinal and putting the epidural thread in. When Istarted to feel uncomfortable and in a bit of pain they were able to feed me the eepidural at which point baby was already out as well. They still have not bathed baby which has made breastfeeding and bonding easier. I nursed her and did skin to skin with her while in surgery. All in all I am feeling good. I am just taking Tylenol and ibuprofen, not the oxicodine. I also have walked once and am going to walk again in about a half hour when I hope to prove I can start using the restroom.
