Usually the doctors advise to wait 6wks. Just so your body has a chance to recover. X

Ok. Ask your dr at your visit. But its safe to say 6wks after u give birth. I feel u, i gained 80 lbs w/ my 1st born and lost 40 lbs bc i got on the depo and i couldnt lose the weight. So i reccomend if you go on birth control to watch what u eat and lose most of weight before getting on it... Or look into sideeffects. Best of luck

If you're breast feeding you can't take any weight loss pills or diet stuff till u stopped breastfeeding. Exercising can start after your 6week postpoderum appt if your dr okays it! Dieting, you can start eatting healthy and certain portions right away, but if breastfeeding you must eat extra caloires needed to provide your baby with milk
