Exercise

Hello, I'm new to the app and am wondering if there are any fit moms on here. I am just curious about what exercises others may be doing.

If you were working out, exercising before pregnancy our fine to continue... I just went for a run earlier today and just got back from a bike ride not even 20min ago. I also go to the gym two to three times a week. I'll be 18weeks tomorrow.
There is no reason not to continue healthy lifestyles, unless your doctor has put you on restrictions due to high risk pregnancies

I am almost 38 weeks and have worked out consistently the entire pregnancy. I did barre classes, which i loved until recently. They have great pregnancy modifications and are a great workout. On days i didn't do that and now, I do light weights, cardio, core, etc. On days i don't feel like working out, i will at least wander around a store for an hr or two. I think it has helped my pregnancy go by super easy and kept my energy up.

I am remaining on my same fitness routine I had prior to becoming pregnant. I attend yoga sculpt 1-2 times per week, zumba and run a few times per week. There's a great book called The Pregnant Athlete. Fitness is always important to me but has become even more of a priority now that I'm pregnant. It's supposed to help with pregnancy,  labor and bouncing back after baby. Good luck!
