Fainting due to haemoglobin deficiency?

My aunt who is pregnant for the last 3 months fainted yesterday.    When taken to emergency, only the haemoglobin level stood at 9.    Can haemoglobin level at 9 cause fainting?

She was also lying unconscious for 20-30 minutes.    Normally we heard anyone falling unconscious will regain their consciousness in 30 seconds to couple of minutes.    However, when we hear she was unconscious for 20-30 minutes is making us worry.

Is it normal to have someone falling unconscious for 20-30 minutes?

The demands of the body on pregnancy are high. Your body needs more blood to accommodate the growing baby. I'm not sure on levels but asking the doc to clarify should be a priority. She could of had a stroke if unconscious for more than 45 seconds. I'd ask for more testing. You don't want her to die from being pregnant. Ask ask ask don't stop asking until you feel you reached a sufficient answer.
