Fainting

For the past three days I have been lightheaded, dizzy, and twice I have blacked out or nearly fainted. My doctors office has yet to call me back, the receptionist apparently can't make a same day appointment and it has to be done by the medical assistant, I have left two messages and no word. To top it off, they are only open til noon and as of this....it is almost ten.

What should I do?

Yes holding your urine is bad especially when your pregnant. If you have to pee go. If anyone at your work has an issue with your bathroom breaks tell them to kiss it!

Find a new Dr! Never should they ever brush stuff like that off! I work for a drs office and a call like that would be my priority!

Ask to be tested for anemia and gestational diabetes! I bet you have one of those!

I was having the same thing and they kept telling me to drink Moore water.  Finally I asked to be tested early for gest. Diabetes and they tested for the anemia too.

I ended up being severely anemic.  Check your pre natals for iron.

I agree to go to like a medexpress or urgent care. This happened to me several times with my first pregnancy and my doctor told me it's something that I should call about and be seen right away. It could be a problem with blood pressure, blood sugar or a sign of something else. That said, with me it was a problem with blood sugar levels.  Drinking lots of water, eating steadily all day with plenty of healthy calories, and not overdoing my activity mostly resolved it. And my baby was totally healthy and actually really strong. It was just me having the problem.  So your baby could be fine.

What's worse is this isn't the first time. I got into a car accident and was bleeding really bad that my boss took me to the er. But I left messages then too and they never called then either.

Go to the minor emergency care. And let your doctor know the next time you see them that you do not appreciate them ignoring you.
