Falling reflex while sleeping

Does/did anyone's newborn do this? The reflex of when they think they are falling and they jerk their arms out like wings (not sure how to best describe it). I know it's a normal thing; my 8 day old daughter just does it all the time while she sleeps. It just seems odd to me? Anything to worry about?
