Feeling like a bad mom

My oldest son has come down with strep throat and scarlet fever, all I want to do is hold him and I can't.  I feel like a bad mom because I am pregnant and neglecting my baby while he is sick.  This is hard to deal with.

Explain to him that he's very contagious, and if you get sick it could hurt the baby. He doesn't want you or your baby to get sick, so I'm sure he can be a big boy until he's feeling better.

I know it cant change how u feel but ur not a bad mom! U have more than one child to watch out for now so ur being a good mom protecting actually the more vulnerable one I know it still ***** feeling like u can't be there for ur son but u don't have a whole lotta choice if u have a chance of getting sick too
