Fibroids!

Tthis past week has been the worst week ever. I have 5 fibroids growing along with the baby. One of which is huge about 10cm+. I was giving me sp much pain I had to go to the ER. They prescribed me some pain killers indomethacin and I have to say it really worked. Have any of you ladies ever had this problem?

I'm15 weeks they told me because of the placement of the fibroids I would have to do c section and from research I think that would be the best choice and the most safe considering the potential blood loss. The doctors have more control if they do a c section

I'm sorry momma. I have cysts and 2 fibroids. I get more pain from the cysts then fibroids though. I was debating a vbaC but I had.one doctor say I couldn't bc of my fibroid placement and another said it wouldn't be a problem. Just curious how far are you and did they say anything about having to have a c section bc of the fibroids?

I Have ovarian cycts as well.  They Grow on ovaries where fibroids are usually on the uterus or falopian tubes. Fibroids can be more of a nusance. They can grow on inconvenient Spots causing issues. Both can be painful. Ovarian cycsts are follicles in your ovaries that full up with hormones. Estrogen creates fibroids. However a cyst can turn into a fibroid.  Im Not sure if I'm explaining this well.

I don't have fibroids now but I have in the past. And I have a cyst that is going away at the moment.  10cm is huge girl, I'm sorry that sounds painful. I Hope it goes away quickly!

Also google natural remidies for fibroids!  I know there are a few including dandelion root!

when you say 'it really worked' ... do you mean the fibroid went away or the pain?

are fibroids the same as cysts? I have a 4cm cyst near my right ovary. doc says not to worry as long as it doesn't interfere with the baby's growth and space. we monitor the cyst at each ultrasound scan to check if it's changing in size or location.
