Flu like symptoms and labor

Has anyone experienced flu like symptoms before labor... last night I had contractions they were 7 to 10 mins apart I went to bed they stopped I woke up this morning I have been nauseous all day so far and really gassy. Iv read that this could mean labor is near anyone had this
