Gender mix-up at scans

Has anyone been told at an early scan (15-17) week boy gender then told the opposite girl gender at a later scan (21-23) weeks?

Thank you all I had my scan at 16 weeks but I've been told baby part doesn't look like an actual "boy part" but more like "the cord" I won't have my next scan till 22.5 weeks I wish I could post a picture to get feed back it honestly has me wondering because I have other boys & their part didn't look like this I've compared all the others look simular but not this one because honestly the "boy part" look as big as the baby's leg in the picture I guess that's why a lot of my family & friends are not to sure it's correct I've done resurch & it's more common for boy to be mistaken for girl so we will see in march to find out but I will be having another private gender scan at 28 weeks to get a 3rd opinion

I was told the gender at both of my early scans and they were correct, but the tech told us not to buy anything gender specific until after my second scan. I heeded that advice. That would be a major let down for me though. You get all excited and prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for one and then it turns out its the opposite :(

That happened to me with my first except I was told at 12 weeks they were positive it was a boy. When I did my 20 week scan, I went to a different place my doctor sent me to & they said 100% girl. I was shocked with the mixed results so I went to a third place who also confirmed girl. I stick with gender neutral things just in case & I ended up delivering a beautiful baby girl. Typically the scan closer to 20 weeks is more accurate so I would go with that result if I were u or get another opinion if u want to be absolutely sure.

Unfortunately the scans aren't 100% accurate.
I'd just buy gender neutral things to be Safe.
