Gender reveal

So ladies, I need some advice please. My hubby and I have been discussing how to do the gender reveal. He wants to find out and then surprise me on my birthday which is in about 2 months. I honestly would love for him to surprise me but I don't want to wait :( I told him why can't we find out together and he  really wants to surprise me with it. He said I didn't get to tell the family of the pregnancy with you so I want to find out the gender and surprise you and the family. I kind of got a little taken back and was like oh so because of that I have to wait to find out. Maybe I am overreacting, I blame it on the prego hormones lol what you girls think?

2 months is a long time to make you wait.

Can't he just take you out to dinner and tell you that way somehow. Like he could get you a Shirley temple if it's a girl or a smurf if it's a boy. I think those are virgin drinks anyway lol

Aw I think it's cute he wants to surprise you. It's rare to see guys so into it. I mean you're waiting 40 weeks or meet your baby... 8 weeks wouldn't kill ya ;)

Lol. It is cute that he's so into it, but you know she'd go crazy waiting so long knowing he already did know.

Plus, think of all the stuff she could buy already in those 8 weeks!!! Lol

It at the same time, if he's anything like most guys that I know, he wouldn't be able to keep the secret for that long anyway lol

Since he wants to surprise you on your birthday I think he should buy you a cake or a cup cake and when you cut it or bite it if its a girl it should be pink in the inside or if its a boy it should be blue in the inside :) I know how your feeling I'm having twins and I can't wait to find out the gender good luck!

My hubby wanted to surprise me but I didnt let him cause I really wanted to kno and I didnt wanna wait. Now I regret it. Even though he still happy about us having a baby. I think I took some of his joy away and I bruised his ego a little bit.

I personally wouldn't want my husband to surprise me. I would be like I'm doing all the work carrying the baby and going through labor if I want to find out at the same time as you I get to haha. I like the surprising you at dinner Idea then you don't have to wait and that doesn't mean he doesn't get to be involved in telling the family.

Gosh if I knew my husband knew before me I couldn't wait 2 months! Your birthday really is just a date why not just surprise you as an early birthday present? I like how people write down the sex of the baby (or have the ultrasound technician write it down), give the paper to a bakery and then they bake a cake for you. Pink or blue cake once you cut into it. You guys could invite all your family and friends out to dinner, even if it's a pizza parlor, just have a gathering with pictures of the moment. But yeah I definitely wouldn't want to wait 2 months especially when I'm doing all the work. It's very sweet he wants to "surprise you" but is it really a surprise? You already know he wants to tell you on your birthday so... it really just makes sense to do it now lol.
