HCG Count

Hey ladies, I haven't had an ultrasound yet but I've had my bloods tested. From my last period I would be 9 weeks 3 days along. Last week at 8 weeks 5 days I had my blood test done and my HCG came back at nearly 154000. Just curious if any other mums have had a similar count and had a single baby or twins. Either way I'd be happy but I feel like it could be twins! I'm showing heaps, like when I was 5 months along with my first. I am a twin and do have a history of twins in my family as well and so does my partner. Any feedback would be great :)

I will find out on Friday, I finally get an ultrasound! I'm hoping for a healthy baby, but two would be awesome! I don't think it's twins anymore but hey who knows :)

This is my third pregnancy, first was a missed miscarriage, second I had my gorgeous boy who's now 13 months. I was playing around with my fetal Doppler the other day and I think I found 2 heartbeats but I'm not 100% sure because my sister in law didn't take very good care of it when I leant it to her so it's not in very good condition. I'm a twin and my great grandma had 3 sets of twins. My partners uncle has twins. But my doctor is in no rush for me to have an ultrasound. And thank you, all I want is a healthy baby but I get the feeling there maybe too! Wishing you the best on your pregnancy too :) Thanks for your feedback

Yeah, I know best way is ultrasound. My doctor won't let me have one yet. I'll have one in a couple weeks. That's why I thought I'd ask if any one had similar HCG levels with one baby or two. Thanks ladies :)

I agree,  high numbers don't mean anything.  Only way to tell is that first ultrasound.

High numbers don't necessarily indicate twins.
