Had a Strep B test/check today at 36...Now freaking out...

Hey all, so this is my first pregnancy I've made it this far. I had my 36 week check and they did the strep B swab. Not only did it hurt like hell, but now when I pee it hurts really bad. Recently I went and have a lot of bleeding (compared to the spotting earlier in the day) and it also has a few blood clots. Also having some period like cramping, and curious to know of this is normal... after two miscarries I'm really freaking out...

The blood clots could be mucus plug. You might be early stages of labor. Call the dr. Most have a separate triage for pregnant women rather than waiting in the ER.

Yes i agree with you all .. it shouldn't hurt or cause any of these symptoms at all! Go check and good luck

I agree, a group b test shouldn't cause any of that, it's a small swab, you honestly should barely feel it, they don't swab your cervix.
