Hair dye

I wanted to dye my hair (my roots are coming out) and I'm maybe about 2-3 weeks pregnant. Is it not recommended or will I (and baby) be at risk? My husband told me he read that I should stay away from fumes. Just want to make sure before I risk anything.

Just don't do it in a closed bathroom. Wear a painter mask if you are worried. I was told it was fine.

I died my hair both pregnancys and am a cosmetologist. Never seen any problems before

I  was told it was fine as well. I love when doctors act like these questions are so silly. "Well you aren't going to wait it are you?" :)

I was very worried and my doctor told me it was fine as long as the room is venilated very good and u dont eat the dye :)) i died mine on sunday. I also wore a mask ;)

It's fine to dye your hair. You're in your last trimester. Ithe dye don't get into your blood or anything like that it's fine I'm dying mines today or tomorrow

Hi I was at my doctor this weekend about to go on my sixth week no dyes, no perms until after the baby is born he said everything that you put on your body is carried to the baby I have started using baby oil now on my skin instead of perfume lotion be very careful
