Heart rate?!?

So i went for 6 month check up yesterday. My dr said i was 2 lbs heavier than i should be but wasnt concerned about that.(im not either). What does concern me is thast when he listened to the babys heart he said if he had to guess gender by heart rate he would say girl! My mom had 3 u/s with me that said I was a boy and I came out a girl. Now im worried that i bought all this boy stuff n he might be a girl!

Lol heart rate for gender? That's a new one for me. Don't worry sweetie if your ultrasound said its a little man I'm sure it is. Congrats on some blue in your life!

I agree, the heartbeat method of gender is not consistent. The u/s are really accurate. I only know of 1 person so far who had a wrong sex mentioned from an u/s, but that was taken in a mall. A few weeks later she did another and git an accurate reading and is waiting for her c section in a couple weeks.

Telling sex by heart rate is a old folk lore lol. Its fun guessing though. all three of my boys heart rates have been different. Go by what your u/s says
