Heartbeat
Hello. I had my first doctors visit on 4/17. Due to a past miscarriage my obgyn scheduled me for a ultrasound. Determined I am 5wk 6 days. No heart beat yet. Should I be worried or is it just really early?

I had a scan at 6wk 6days and there was a healthy heartbeat
The baby is still really small for them to detect a heartbeat....the heartbeat actually starts about 28 days after conception but is really hard to detect with an ultrasound until between 6/7 weeks. I pray that you have a safe and healthy pregnancy!
