Some women just have small babies I don't think it's anything to be concerned about

Doctor thought my oldest was going to be small he was 9.3lbs, 21 1/2 inches long. Point and case.

My baby was born a healthy 5lbs, 14oz 18.5in at 38.5 weeks. She was very alert and gained weight rather quickly. Went from 8th percentile size to 95th percentile in two months..and she's stayed between 75th-95th percentile since (currently 5 months). My mom liked to comment that she thinks I was cutting back on my eating. Nope, I ate more than I did normally, that's for sure.

Those ultrasounds are not very accurate from my own personal experience. And even if it is accurate for you, your baby will probably be fine. My first was born at 39.5 weeks and only weighed 5lb 11 ozs. Besides needing to eat more often she was a normal healthy (but tiny) baby!

Ultrasounds can be off by 2 lbs! Please try to not stress about it :)

The ultrasound is not always accurate. They said my son was measuring about 7 lbs at 37 weeks but was under 6 when i delivered

They said the same thing to my sil. They were so concerned about the weight of her baby. When he was born he weighed 9lbs. I wouldn't be overly concerned about it.
