High blood sugar levels/ Is 6.8 normal after meal, checked after 2 hours.

So I 've been told by my doctor that my glucose levels in urine have been rising. Also that blood glucose test you do at forgot how many weeks, she said I passed it,but very close to not passing.
I do not think the way they measure it in the doc's office  is very accurate, by using strips put into urine.
I have done some checking myself at home,by pricking the finger before and after each meal.
On empty stomach in the morning,my number was 4.0.
After eating breakfast and checking 2 hours later,my number was 6.8
From what I know it is quite normal, especially during pregnancy when our body reacts to some things differently.
I am 35 weeks now, anyone in similar situation?
Also my baby measures large, this is 3rd pregnancy.
1st one I had raised glucose levels all the time, and put the the biggest amount of weight compare to other 2 pregnancies.
1st baby was normal weight at birth.
Second I did not have problems with glucose levels, put on the least weight but still 2nd baby is a boy and he was 9.2 lbs.
This 3rd baby appears to be large,I did not put on a lot of weight, all according to normal charts,my height/weight etc. It is a girl,so I am just wondering does it have to do anything with glucose levels,or it really does not affect baby's size.
2nd baby /boy was almost same weight at birth as his father at birth, big head as well.
I keep hearing that the more babies you give birth the bigger they get.
That might be explanation I am looking for.
Any info and share of experience would be appreciated!

6.8 is within the normal range, anything over 7 is considered high. I suffered with it with all 3 pregnancies!
