I'm 39 weeks and I was 1cm dilated Monday at my appointment. I was expecting to give birth any day but am yet to feel any contractions. Any idea how long this could take???

Dilation doesn't mean as much as effacement. How effaced you are will give you a better idea of how soon this is going down.

Yes a week definitely feels like forever. This baby seems so comfortable inside and I'm barely walking at this point. Everything hurts lol buy I should be induced Monday. So almost done :) thank u in ladies

Everyone is different.  With my first I was never dilated, and the doctor said I would probably have another week or two, but my water broke the next day at 38 weeks.  I never had any contractions up until that point.  With my second I was dilated 1 cm for a week, and they ended up inducing at 39 weeks because of how uncomfortable I was.  You just never know.  I know even one week seems like forever right now, but you're in the home stretch.  O would assume at 41 weeks they would induce if nothing happens.  Congratulations!
