Homebirth?

I am pregnant with number 3. Number 1 was long and horrible epidural and ended up with a serious infection after baby was born. Number 2 I didn't get a chance to get to hospital at home hubby caught him before the midwife arrived. My midwives have highly recommended I have a homebirth.  
Has anyone else had or are having a homebirth?

I'm having a home birth for #2. Baby #1 was a pain med free induction by pitocin and ended with both me and baby with infections. I feel totally safe and confident to have a home birth this time around.

I've had two wonderful home births! I had great midwives and I've read tons of books and articles on the subject. There are lots of videos and documentaries to view as well. I'm a low risk momma with healthy babies so far. I am planning on another peaceful and easy birth with this last baby. Good luck to you!

I may be delivering at home. I am hoping to deliver at the birthing center. If I don't make it to the birthing center for any reason my baby will probably be born at home. The only problem with that is midwives here do not help with home births if baby is born at home you are on your own.
