How do I say this?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my third baby. My sister in law lives in Colorado and sent me a box of kids clothes. Not too much baby stuff- mostly stuff that's for 2 years old or 9-12 months. She wants to send more, which is sweet. The problem is I have limited space and don't want to store stuff for years until the baby fits into it. Also it's all second hand.  Not great second hand either- kind of worn and not anything I would pick. I appreciate it, but I also want to buy my own stuff. How do I tell her nicely that we don't need/want any more stuff?

Thanks ladies.  Giving the stuff to Goodwill is a great idea. I'm definitely not against second hand. I have a bunch of stuff, including a swing second hand. But yeah,  I like to pick it and I'm not one to get stuff just to have it and hold onto it.

I agree you won't have to worry about her feelings and you just fixate to good will, thrift store, sometimes I just put a bag of old clothes in those clothes bins. That are like in shopping plaxa parking lots etc.

You could always have a yard sale or send it to the vietnam vets.  That's what I do.  I always donate everything I don't or can't use anymore. You can get a tax write-off and you're helping ppl out.

Just tell her to send it too you later on when your baby will fit into them because you don't have much storage room and would have no where to put them. And if you don't like them then you could always donate them to your local thrift store.
