How soon should I see the ob?

My insurance doesn't start till May that will put me a little over 10weeks plus how ever long it actually takes to get in to the doctor. I've taken 4 pregnancy test they all say positive but do I need to get in sooner to confirm?

I would take your vitamins an treat yourself as pregnant. Go ahead an call doctors office to see if they can go ahead an schedule that far out now then you'll be set!

My doctors office likes to see you between 8-10 weeks for the first appt. I was almost 9 at my first. Just call and set up appt now for May. That's what I did. Good luck!

Not true. I'm in Michigan and 9 weeks and see my ob today. I'm not sure how all hospitals work but my insurance hasn't kicked in but I'm in the system as "pending insurance" bc mine kicks in April 1. They will still send all my bills to the insurance bc it's in the system that I will have it. Insurance companies look at pregnancy like a packaged deal, not individual appointments. If I were you, I would call the OB and explain your situation and ask them. :)

I'm taking prenatal vitamins. Ive actually been taking folic acid and fish oil for awhile because I read an article saying Its good if you plan on having more children just wasn't planning this soon :) but im excited. I just couldn't remember how soon you're supposed to see the doctor because with my first I took the test than started bleeding so I saw the doc at about 6 weeks.

Just make sure you take your prenatal vitamins. You can buy them at any Rite Aid or Walgreens.

Very unlikely it's harder to get a false positive. Ur pregnant.

I'm not sure if it does it not. I will have to look into that. I guess part of me still feels like im not really pregnant lol I felt the same when I was pregnant with my son. I'm sure the likelihood of 4 false positives is very unlikely huh? :)

I don't think it's necessary to get in b4 ur 10 weeks. My 1st visit I was 9 weeks. They wouldn't let me come in till I was at least 8 weeks. I would start taking prenatal vitamins & continue a routine of a pregnant person.

I had some testing done that they could only do 12-14 weeks so I would think by then. Does your state provide any free health care until it kicks in? It should esp if your pregnant
