How swollen is too swollen?

My ankles were almost twice the size of my feet yesterday. And I'm pretty sure if my feet were normal. Size my ankles were definitely double the size. I couldn't see my ankle bones anymore and it looked like they were both broken except not swollen. And today my feet r still swollen and they feel jiggly when I walk. It's been a whole day and I have sat all day on my Recliner hoping they will go back to normal. But it's not working. How swollen is too swollen? Even my shins were hurting yesterday. So much so I cried after work to my husband cause I just wanted to cut my legs off :(

Feet r still barely swollen but getting better. I will call tomorrow and see what she has to say. I would rather speak to my doctor then an on call nurse just because she knows me a little better since I've been seeing her the last 8 months

Most places have an on call Dr or you can call the hospital and talk to an on nurse, I've done that a few times.
