A healthy, full term pregnancy usually lasts 40 weeks. I know it's hard to wait, and you get very uncomfortable, but it's important to think of your baby first, and baby will come when its ready. :) 36 wks is definitely too early...
Just try to relax and do what's fun for you, to get your mind off of it a bit. All the best to you! :)
36 weeks is still earily. If none of the safe methods of inducing labor are working your body and baby probably aren't ready, and there's nothing that's going to change that but time.
If you can sex. I had sex 2 nights in a row and walking lots and had my baby girl at 36+5wks. What they estimate weight at isnt always right. At 32+5 i was told she weighed 5pd 5oz and she was born at 5pd 7oz. She is 5+3wks old now
Thank you all i just left doctor and he weighs 6lbs 1 oz and due to lost of my son in 2014 I have to have baby monday. The emotional pain is taking a toll on us and baby..
Def want to let your little one cook more of all the basic stuff is not working - it means the baby isn't ready and at 36 wks that's normal; the lungs can still be developing at this point. My first 2 were measuring over 7lbs (born at 9lbs 2oz 40 wks & 9lbs 6oz 39 wks) at 36 wks and my Dr still had me go until at least 39 wks.
36w is still premature and 5lbs is small. Let him grow some more. Once he's out and keeping you up all night crying you'll look back and wish you could have kept him inside longer....
I'm 37 weeks almost 38 I went into labor early 3 times so very grateful I made it this far. I'm in terrible pain all the time. Walking is excruciating so I definitely understand but baby will come when ready. Walking can help for when labor starts. Good luck you're close.
I don't have any suggestions as my body seems to not understand how to go into labor on its own. I've been induced twice. Also on my 3rd and pregnancy at 34 is so much harder than at 21. My sister had her baby and said she did a lot of lunges. She was 8 days overdue so it may have been a coincidence. Good luck.
