I had my baby!

Yay! Thank you ladies for all your help during these last 9 months!

So, really quick synopsis.  I had a planned homebirth but in the end baby was breech at delivery.  The only two local obs who deliver vaginal breech were out of town.  My.midwife sent me to the hospital Friday night and since my contractions weren't too close together and I wasn't dilated much they kept me overnight but scheduled the c section for 8 am the next morning.  My water started leaking at 2 am and  right after I signed my anesthesia papers at 7am my water just kinda gushed out & soaked my socks on the way to the bathroom... It all ended up being perfect timing.

In any case... I had a beautiful baby GIRL on Saturday morning. :)

P.S. Those of you who actually desire a c-section... You cray cray! My God, worst pain in my entire life.

Congrats!!! I feel you on the pain as I had one with my first after 24 hours of labor :-( because of that surgery as well as three more since I had her I'm having another one for my son and I'm sooo not looking forward to it! Good luck with recovery and enjoy that beautiful baby

Mckaylas mommy... Agreed! I think some people choose to ignore the fact that it is major surgery.  I'm still feeling like i got hit by a bus.

Congratulations!!! Im soo happy for you!!! Yea, I really don't get how people do elective c sections--- no thank you! The thought freaks me out... I mean, I'll get paid for 2 weeks longer if I have one but its not worth it to me... I wish you a speedy recovery and enjoy your little miracle :)

Ive had 2 csections already and my 3rd is scheduled for 2 weeks from now.The 2nd wasn't as painful as the first! I'm hoping that the 3rd will be even easier! Congratulations to you&take as much help as you can the first 2 weeks andmove around as much as you can .
