I'm at 8 weeks and I've lost 8 lbs since finding out I was pregnant. The nausea makes it hard to eat a lot.  Doctor said it was fine because the baby is measuring well and I'm taking my vitamins.  Stay hydrated, take your prenatals and try to eat what you can.

I never got sick with my morning sickness. Just lots of nausea. But I am finding that my appetite isn't fully back. So I know I'm not getting the calories I need.

Morning sickness can make you loose weight in the beginning for getting sick and not wanting to est anything. Ive lost about 6 lbs. These first few months. But i also have 2 other kids to chase around daily! Good luck

I got scolded by my obgyn for losing 7lbs, 4th pregnancy, have 3 children to chase after and horrible morning sickness...15 weeks now, last saw my dr at 13 weeks and she accused me of not eating. Guess it depends on the dr. I am 5'7 and was 148lbs when I concieved, so even at 141 I'm not at an unhealthy weight...

Definitely normal for some people. I'm not sure why, but, all of the women in my family lose weight during pregnancy and still have super healthy babies.

Best wishes

I lost 6 pounds in one week earlier in my pregnancy and still haven't put it all back on. My doctor said as long as the baby is measuring good then the weight gain doesn't really matter
