They say to limit caffeine, I never really did. I never really drank a whole lot before though. Biut I drank a mountain dew or so.
200-300 milligrams a day is safe.
how many drinks that is depends. The type of coffee and how it's brewed affect caffeine content, same with tea
OK, today I gave in a I drank a coke to kill my headache, worked like a charm!
As mogpog said, my doc encouraged me not to go cold turkey. He said I should cut back to make one caffeinated drink a day, but not to cut it completely out. I've kept my servings to less than 200mg of caffeine a day (which killed some of my Starbucks drinks!) But that's OK :-)
It depends on what you are used to before. Everyone is different and handle caffein differently.
i drink 1 mild instant coffee every morning. it wakes me up and keeps me regular. i avoid soda though and only drink caffein-free teas.
I still drink coffee and soda. Sometimes I'll even have a frap from Starbucks and my baby is perfectly fine. I'm 33 weeks.
No more than 200 mg per day.
The studies that show a correlation between caffeine and miscarriages involve a LOT of caffeine given to pregnant mice. Like 10 lattes worth at once. My doc told me that unless I am currently drinking that much everyday I don't need to cut out caffeine at all. I usually have a cup or two when I need it
I drink one two cups of coffee a day and one or two Pepsis a day I have with all of my babies and they are perfect
I had 2 previous miscarriages. I was super cautious about everything during the first trimester. Now I'll have a venti coffee base frappuccino about once maybe twice a week and everything is good at31+ weeks.
You can drink one drink of a caffeine beverage a day. My pick is coffee :) They say a little will not hurt but it's when you drink a lot that is not safe.
