2 days to go but...

I'm being induced right now!! I'm excited to meet my little bundle of joy and can't really sleep even though my fiance has been passed out on the couch in the delivery room for the last 3 hours. I'm not sure if it's nerves keeping me awake or the mildly uncomfortable position they are keeping me in. By the way it's almost 4 am where I live. I've always been a night owl but can't seem to get good rest lately unless the sun is up. I'm not sure when I'll have my little girl in my arms but I'm hoping sometime today I'll be able to post that she has finally shown up.

Still no baby yet. I had to have a second dose of cervadil to get my cervix ready and should hopefully be put on pitocin in the morning. I still can't sleep well, even though I've taken a sleeping pill.
She'll show up when she's ready but I'm definitely ready to be done in the hospital. I just want to hold her already.

Good luck and congrats. My first baby the day of my induction I did not sleep either pure adrenaline. I stayed up for three days after he was born. Just try hard to sleep when you can and if your not comfortable tell the nurses.

Thank you so much! I'm a first time mom and am really nervous about what is about to happen. I've been told I'm at a high risk for a c section since I came in not dilated at all but the doctors are hoping I'll "ripen" over night so I can dilate tomorrow and have a "normal" vaginal birth. It turned out I developed gestational hypertension and with how close I am to my due date they wanted to induce tonight (yesterday).
