I'm 9 weeks pregnant by LMP but U/S measures 6 weeks

According to first day of LMP, my baby should be measuring at 9 weeks. I even told the dr around the time the baby was conceived which he says I should be about 9 weeks. The ultrasound measured the baby at 6 weeks. There was no fetal heartbeat. I'm going to see the dr again for another ultrasound in 1 week to see if there is a heartbeat. The dr said I could possibly miscarry. Has anyone had any similar experiences, both positive and negative??

I have had 1 healthy pregnancy and no miscarriages. My son is 13 months old. I know implantation occurred late. However, I can't be 6 weeks because I had a positive pregnancy test 5 weeks ago. I'm praying for a miracle.

My sister has 4 times. She lost the first but it wasn't until 2-4 they started checking baby stops growing at 7 wks and she loses it. This has been over the past year for her and she's gotten some testing done. Her issue is chromosome related. The second time I believe is when they determined she should have been almost 10 wks but fetus stopped growth at 7.
