Induction does not cause this. I had an all natural birth my last time and my son had his cord wrapped around his neck 3 times lucky for me i had an abnormally long cord so it didnt choke him. But my first was induced he came out fine it was horridly more painful i did have some issues but thats because of the drugs i had which is why i went matural amd ill be going natural again.

I was induced with my first because I was overdue. I'd REALLY wanted to go natural and refused an epidural. My baby kept kicking the fetal monitor off so I had to lay flat on my back for a 36 hour labor. After 30 hours they told me if I wouldn't get an epidural they were scheduling a C-section, so I gave in and got the epidural. It was a pretty horrible experience for us, but every labor's different, and every woman's body reacts different.

We're planning on having this baby either at a natural birthing center or home. FAR,
far away from pitocin drips and fetal monitors.

I did! Was induced April 22nd 2015 around noon and had my baby girl at 11:36pm the next day. She was perfectly healthy besides a tongue tie but they fixed it. She was 9lbs 12oz and 21.5 in. Every labor is different. Congrats and good luck! :)

I've had two inductions with my first two and they had to break my water both times at 42 weeks. My babies never seem to want to come on time lol so I was thankful to finally meet them. I didn't have any issues with either birth. I am currently pregnant with baby number 3 and I am hoping this baby comes naturally and on time but will be thankful to an induction if this baby stays in til 42 weeks. Don't worry about a thing. The umbellical cord can get wrapped around a baby with any type of delivery. Also since babies get oxygen from the cord and don't breathe like us until after they're born, people really shouldn't freak out about the cord getting wrapped around baby. (My mom is a nurse)

My second and third were both induced best thing ever for me!!!  It's interesting that it was becuase of induction that the umbilical cord was wrapped that can happen in any labor and delivery including c section.  Dont be scared there are many perks to induction. Like rested staff and if you can relax rested parents.

I was induced with my son. He's now two. Labor seemed bearable until they started the "Pitocin Drip" which was my form of induction (there are other ways). My pains were non-stop and it was CRAZY how fast the contractions were coming but after the epidural I was able to relax and delivered a healthy beautiful baby boy 3 hours later. It definitely sped the process along much faster as I was only in labor for 4 hours from start to finish. It goes really fast but mine was successful. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I had it done with my first son he was fine nothing went wrong at all other then the epidural stoped working. I was going to be induced with my 2 son but he decided to come the night before I was going to get it done.
