My docs won't induce unless medically necessary or if you go past your due date. With my first I was scheduled to be induced at 40+3 but ended up going into labor 7 hours before I was scheduled to be at the hospital :) Hang in there.

My doc was gonna induce me at 39 bc i live 1 hr 1/2 away from hospital but i havent been progressing been stuck at 1cm cervix still high. My due date was yesterday and im scheduled to be induced monday. Unless for a medical reason they will not induce before 39.

Inducing doesn't hurt any more than regular labor.. Just hang in there.. You'll get your turn.. You'll be happy you waited..

I'm due the 30th :) I asked my doctor to scrapp my membrane yesterday, that helps. I had contractions after words but nothing yet, I will forwarn you it hurts when they do it, I could only make it a 3rd of the way.  I also might be induced tomorrow to :/ I might have preclampsia.  And your 39 weeks your fully developed at 37 weeks and they don't want to wait any longer than 41 weeks so honestly if your baby is at a good weight do what you gotta do girl!  Good luck

She said she is due jan 31.. Not that she is 31 weeks. But I don't see a reason why a doctor will induce unless it is needed.

31 weeks is way to early.  You're not even in the "clear" yet of 36 weeks. No doctor will induce you. If you even started to go into labor now you would Hey medicine to stop the labor because your baby does not have a good healthy chance at life at this point.

My doctor induced early because I am bipolar and have dangerous mood swings and needed back on meds. We discussed early on. I was induced at 39 weeks and had 18 hour labor with healthy, perfect beautiful babygirl.

Im being induced. I was induced with my last baby at 37+5 days due to pre-eclampsia. But, baby and i are both healthy this time. My dr is inducing me at 39 weeks. I asked to be induced bc i live an hour away from the hospital, i have a 20 month old i have to send to a grandparents house, and my biggest reason is I run an in home daycare and need my parents to make sure they have someone lined up for their kids. I cant risk having a bunch of kids here and going into labor. Lol. If you have legitament reasons to want to be induced, talk to your dr. Some will induce, some wont. Couldnt hurt to discuss it.   :)

Just a heads up induced Labour's are normally harder as the drugs make it more intense during Labour. As well the reason she probably doesn't want to is due dates can be off for lots of reasons. Late ovulation, late fertilization etc many more. I would listen to your baby and Dr. Yes the end of pregnancy is miserable, I have been here many times.  It ***** a actually I feel done now and i still have ten weeks to go.  As long as you and the baby are healthily I don't see the Dr inducing you sorry.  Hang in there.

Why? Your baby isn't done growing yet. Plus if you not being induced that means your OB doesn't think you or baby need it.
