Induction day tomorrow HELP

OK so will be 40+5 tomorrow and I'm due in for induction at 8am, I was so convinced I was in labour on wed but baby obvs has other ideas, the doc has explained to me that cuz I had a previous section she is only willing to try induction with half a pessary and I'm not a candidate for having my waters broken. Has anyone had a successful induction with half a pessary? They are giving me 24 hours with it and if it doesn't work I'm for a section on Tues morn which I really don't want, any help advice would be appreciated

Sounds like what I had with my son when the tab was working with the tablet in there it shouldn't stop this time it should only get closer together. They needed to pop my water as I was only trickling but they had to break mine they will only break your waters if they feel your progressing so the tablet must be working for them to even suggest it love.
Did they give you the full tablet in the end or was it just the half like they said ?
Have they said about putting you on a drip to help or are they still seeing how you get on ?
Don't for get if the period pains and the twinges get to bad ask for pain relief.
Try and get some sleep as it will help your body with getting ready for labour.
Your doing so amazingly well

Just a wee update, I had my gorgeous baby boy at 11.30am yest with a c section, no matter what we tried he just didn't want to come on his own and if I'm being completely honest after hearing his weight I was glad it was a section he was a whopping 9lb 13oz, the anaesthetist came and spoke to me beforehand and really calmed me down, I cannot fault the docs in anyway as they were amazing

I'm having back pain and period like cramps but they are every hour give or take, this is what I was like on wed though and it all stopped, doc has said she will try to break my waters in the morning if it's possible but won't guarantee anything as my cervix was still quite high. They seem to be keen to try all options b4 a section so that's good

How often are you getting the twinge? Are you getting period pains with it ? I had both before my waters started leaking. It will come are they giveing you the second one after 11 hours it's a stronger tablet to help your cervix thin ? Walking is suppose to help with the tab in and so is bouncing on a birth ball.
Watch out with the birth balls though I fell off twice was so funny I was ment to be bouncing the baby out yet I spent more time flat on my back lol.
Well at lest they are trying your way first. I still have my fingers crossed for you.
Your doing so amazing love

8 hours later and the only thing I've experienced is the odd twinge, docs aren't holding out too much hope for a natural birth and told me to not get my hopes up to much, just have to face facts what will be will be, as long as I have a healthy baby at the end I will get through whatever

Wow you had to go though a lot with your first baby I hope you get the virginal birth you want. When I was induced my water started to leak after 3 hour and my contractions had started with in no time I went from 1 cm to 2 nearly 3 cm dilated after the just 3 hours. So it is possible you can get your vaginal birth love.
How you getting on love ? Is the passary working ? Are you dilated any yet ?

I never went into labour I had a mild placental abrubtion and my daughter had meconium aspiration and became really distressed, so it was a crash section just to get her out, I was 8 days over with her. Doc said because of this my body may not be ready to go into labour naturally as it's treating this *** my first pregnancy

Befor your first c-section did you start off in labour and have a problem and that's why you needed the c-section?
Or did you need it befor your body tryed labour ?
I only ask as if your body tryed to go in to labour your cervix and the muscles down there should be weaker and more sensitive so it should react to the pessary even if it is half. It's a shame you didn't have a couple of days before going in as you could have used evening primroses capsule 2 tabs twice a day like a pessary is ment to thin your cervix like the pessary just is a little slower.

I'm not sure what a pessary is?  Why won't they break your water?
