If you've had sex recently it is probably just blood from the cervix, especially if it is brown. Dehydration can also cause that.

I was bleeding in my first trimester and it was also brown with my second child and this current pregnancy,  went to antenatal ward just in case but as they said it's old blood from my last menstrual.... They're more concerned if it's bright red blood which is more of a major threat of a miscarriage! But don't leave nothing to chance and go and see  your Dr as already advice

Just went to the doctor today. Im a dtm 7wks 4 days. I have had a brown discharge, sometimes pink and the doctor examined me and said hes not worries. I still freak about but try to find comfort in my doctors words. My sister miscarried and it was heartbreaking so i just pray that the doctor is right and baby is ok. Beat ofmluck!

I believe it is normal. I had brown spotting from 5w up until 10w and my doctor didn't have any concerns as long as the discharge wasn't heavy. It is most likely old blood that was left behind during implantation. Don't stress girly :)
