I am 5 weeks and have been worried about working out as hard as I use too. Since we are still so early I am afraid to push myself hard. I have been doing these hard workouts for the past 5 months but still worried.....

It's perfectly safe. I'm still lifting weights n running 3 miles non stop every other day.. Although I started slowing down on my runs... just a little I'm still keeping up with my running partner n just lowered 5 lbs on some of my weights. Of course some exercises I can't do exercises where I lay on my stomach or back.. but other than that I do most like squats, dead lifts, cleans n press.. I'm 21 weeks pregnant

Yes its safe! And important. It will help you avoid a lot of pregnancy symptoms such as round ligament pain. Will keep you at a healthy weight. Will make for shorter and much easier labor and delivery. And will help you heal faster after baby. And your body will bounce back to prepregnancy shape much more quickly. For now you should be able to continue as you always have. But soon ur expanding bump will give you reason to slow down. When u start noticing ur a Lil clumbsier then normal avoid exercisise that require a lot of balance. And don't push your self. If you feel tired rest. If your muscles are aching that's a cue to take it easy. And most importantly drink a lot of water!!
