It could also be a kidney issue....where your kidneyiant functioning up to par. Progesterone tends to slow it down. This is what i was told at my primary care physicians when I found out I was pregnant. She was giving me a heads up on things to look out for and expect.

This same thing happened to my sister during her first pregnancy and her doctor pretty much told her it was a rash and to put hydrocortisone cream on it and he said she basically just had to deal with it she was pretty close to her due date like you so he just said hang on a little longer and it would go away after she delivered which it did... Hope you get some answers from your doctor i would definitely give them a call.

Well if its none of those things above, I had this happen to me in the beginning of second trimester. They look like bumpy rashes spreading all over right?  Well I come to discover that I was allergic to iron pills and to the iron in the prenatal pills. Had to be put on iron free prenatals. So just in case all your blood work comes out well and they can't figure it out, try eliminating your vitamins and see what effect you have. I had to take multivitamins to be sure to get nutrients while I figured out that it was for sure the iron. They didn't have a test that told them I was allergic to the iron. So just a suggestion! Good luck

Thanks all to your support, suggestions and experiences! I had a word with my doctor and she said it is due to the pregnancy harmones and stops iron and vitamins intake! Waiting for the final day eagerly! It is my first pregnancy and was quite nervous about it!
