Itchy knees and elbows

I am only 7wks and I have very itchy elbows and knees. They aren't dry. There are also welt like bumps that look like a mosquito bite but I wasn't bitten. Anybody else experience this so early and if so, what helps? I've tried ice, lotion, calamine etc. nothing is coming close to helping. The books say it will subside after childbirth but 8 more months of this sounds crazy! Please help.

I had that I got cream from the doc it took about a good 2 weeks of uessing the stuff befor it worked

I have been getting slightly drier skin already (could be the weather in CA as I'm only about 6 weeks along!) but I also have been getting a few itchy red bumps on my hand which drives me crazy! I would suggest keep chugging water to stay hydrated and maybe see a doc if the itchy bumps aren't going away (maybe they can give you something to help!)
