JAUNDICE AND NOW A HEART MURMUR!!

So my baby girl was diagnosed with jaundice at 4 days old. She is now 11 days and for the last 7 days we have been in and out of the hospital her getting poked every other day!:( so we went for our regular every two day check up this morning and now come to find out she has a heart murmur... Omg I feel like I'm going to lose it at any moment its just one thing after the other and on top of being worried sick about my baby I have 4 other kids that need my attention. Its soooooo hard keeping it all together for all my babies, I don't want them to see mommy upset and I definitely don't want them to worry about their little sister! Anyone else have these same problems with their little ones? These two symptoms back to back and then having to wait for the results it just takes for ever!!!

I know that these are common my last 3 besides her had jaundice but it was gone before we left the hospital with her we didn't fond out until she was 4 days old and with the heart murmur my son had it when he was born but it was gone by the next day with her its already been a couple of days the Dr told me she heard it at her last appt. Two days ago but just assumed it would go away by this appt. Today but it didn't so know I had to make an echo scan and that can't be done until the 19th ughhh I hate having to wait soooo long to find out. But thanks ladies I really just needed to vent so thank you for responding you ladies really made me feel better and at ease for the moment thank you!!

I have had a heart murmur since I was born I'm 30. I have had it checked here and there but it has caused me no problems. Hang in there mama. You got this

First off congrats! Dont worry yourself. Jaundice and heart murmurs are SO common. She'll just need some time under the UV lights for the jaundice and will be good in no time. As for the heart murmur, a cardiologist will monitor it as she grows. Usually babies grow out of it or it can be something thats normal for her body.

Yes with my first. He's going to be 7 in a month! Most heart murmurs are nothing to worry about. He has his still as far as we know and is perfect.
