Journee Delores has arrived!!!

Gm ladies,

I'm proud to announce the arrival of Journee Delores...born at 8:23 am weighing 7lbs 13oz and 19 1/4 inches...she is so beautiful no words can describe...she took to breastfeeding right away...surgery went well and now in recovery doing just as good. I thank the Lord himself for blessing me with such a beautiful and healthy little princess. I'm in love again. Can't wait for my 5 year old to come up here and hold and kiss her baby sister. Ready to see them forever bond...so over joyed right now.

To any ladies wanting to breastfeed...I would suggest doing skin to skin...it helps the baby latch a WHOLE lot better.

It was cause I knew what to expect...and things are a little different now than it was 5 years ago like the skin to skin...They highly recommend that now...plus my first was in Florida by emergency...this one is in Illinois and planned... I believe location makes a difference as well.

This was my second c-section first was a emergency and it was OK except for the breastfeeding... Did not do skin to skin with first. Now I'm more confident in it. If I had to choose between vbac and c-section I think just for the experience I would do vbac

Congratulations, was this ur first c section? I had one with ny 2 year old I am pregnant 27 weeks and debating on doing another even though ny first was a emergency and bad experience. But alao wanna try for a vbak.
