Kicking

When do you start to feel movement. I'm 18 weeks and haven't felt it yet. At my last Dr app they said everything looked good. Nice strong heart beat so I'm just wondering if i should be feeling it by now

It can also depend on where the placenta is.  If it's anterior (in the front) it can muffle kicks until the little one gets much stronger.

It really depends from person to person. Apparently, slim or athletic mom's can feel baby fairly early. Overweight moms might take longer. First time moms might not feel movement until much later as well. Second time varies as well but I read can feel them earlier as they can recognize the movements better as not just being gas or something lol, but can take just as long or longer as can be more space so until baby's bigger inside, more difficult to feel.

I myself felt her at 16 weeks, athletic build and first time mom.

It really just depends on the person, build, etc.

I felt my daughter at 14 weeks but didn't feel my son til after 20weeks but the positioning of the placenta was current and he had to kick strong enough that I could feel it thru the placenta
