Labor after membrane stripping?

I'm 39 weeks, 3cm, 70% effaced and had my membranes stripped yesterday. Has anyone else had theirs stripped before and long after did you go into labor?

If you want to try some natural kick starts I found cleaning the house followed by a relaxing pedicure/foot massage got me started...

I made sure they knew I was past my due date and I got a 30min massage with my pedicure it was relaxing and started my labor

Well, I had it done again last monday. And I'm now overdue by 3 days so it must not have worked for me :( This boy needs to vacate my uterus! I'll be "kicked out of the pool" for water birth if he doesn't come by sunday :(

It was definitely uncomfortable but it only lasted about a minute and I didn't experience any cramping or discomfort afterwards. I'm sure it's slightly different for everyone but I've experienced worse!

With my first daughter, my OB stripped my membranes at 38 weeks, nothing happened. She stripped them again at 39 weeks. And ended up having my daughter that night. But I was already in the beginning stages of labor when she stripped them the second time.

I had mine scraped with my first child and I was 6.5 cm dialated. That was on a Sunday and I still ended up getting induced on Thursday! Needless to say I had a stubborn baby and he still is! Lol

I had mine stripped one week after due date first my first. I went into labor 3 hours afterwards! But the doctor did tell me it's a 50/50 chance I'll go into labor.
