We never tried to be quiet with any of ours we actually made a point of making normal to louder noise so they learned to sleep through it now both my boys sleep thru everything. Going to do the same with this one.

Loud noises are the best.  If they start from the beginning then they will be great sleepers.  I was very loud with my first (vacuumed her room while sleeping) she is the best sleeper every.  Sleeps in until 8 and nothing wakes her.

my boys are 9 & 11 and they understand what it means to be quite.  I worry about my 5 & 3year old girls cuz they are still learning.  I usually keep the house the way it is with all the noises so the baby can get used to itm

Girl send their butts outside, lol. And they should know what quiet time means. If they wake the baby over and over make them be responsible for putting baby back to sleep or stop fussing, especially the teen. I thought maybe you had younger kids. I have a 4 & 9 yr old and my 14yr old SIL is staying with me for the summer. I told them chores will increase if baby is awake and I am unable to do them and meals will suffer. I wish you all the luck in the world with the boys.

Your baby is used to the loud noise already from hearing it somewhat in the belly. If you make it completely quiet while baby sleeps then baby will wake easily with small noises. I had to come up with quieter games, craft time, and rewards. How old are your boys?
