Laxitives?

What is safe to take ? I'm so constipated, I can't really push right now it hurts so bad. Is it safe to take ducolax?

My doctor said I can take align probiotics and it has worked for me

Try miralax.  It's safe during pregnancy.  It's not exactly a laxative,  but if you take with prune or apple juice, it may help

Drink a lot more water and eat raisons and more fibre.

Hi Hun, firstly id suggest that you see your midwife or doctor, in the mean time oranges, prunes lots of water and waking can help wonders.

Try to make it you're daily routine from now until birth to drink at least two cups daily of (organic herbal) fennel seed & rasberry leaf tea.

This is my third kid & I have the same problem that starts as early as 1st trimester. Hope this helps. Good luck

Try drinking pineapple juice or eat Applesauce.It help me sometimes.And drink plenty water. But again iron pills it was harsh constipation at times.

I had the same question to my doctor. She had me take a gentle laxative pill. And it worked...I didn't go for almost two weeks and was feeling ill and tried everything

i am constipated too .. Today morning i went to see my doctor they adviced to drink water , eat fruits and all bran buds cereal .. She also gave me that medication called RestoraLAX and told me to talk one dose every 3 days .. I took one dose and after half an hour i went to bath room thank good :)

Its not good to take laxatives while pregnant. Try fiber powder and lots of water then go for a walk. Thats what worked for me. But no laxatives are not safe. Idk of other laxatives will get into babies system i know castor oil doesnt but that could put you into labor and dehydraye you.
