I needed more calcium as well. I used to get them 2 to 3 times a week (sometimes both legs on the same night). I started taking calcium supplements and experienced a dramatic decline. I haven't had one in weeks (knock on wood!).
Talk to your doc/midwife before adding any supplememts of course.
Yes I was getting them very bad to. My ob Said I need more calcium in my diet so I started a calcium supplement and haven't had any leg cramps since. .
Yess leg cramping...After standing or laying down in the same position for a long time.
Thank you Marie0925 for responding :)
I'm sorry you have had to experience them as well.
Yes I get them all day and night, 3rd pregnancy for me and nothing really makes them go away I alternate stretching, pillows, exercise, tylonol (when unbearable), potassium, I try to eat bananas. Sometimes it helps others nothing works. Its one of the more annoying cant do much about it symptoms, just try to hang in there, oh also sleeping propped up helps, in a recliner prefrably. Hope you find some relief.
