I had the same issue occur this week. I work out every other night and have a job that requires me to walk over a mile everyday so it was very odd. I rubbed my leg with muscle rub and it was a little better the next morning. Still not 100% but way better than the other day. I could barely walk.

To relief the pain try icy hot but in the spray bottle it helps relax the muscles I get cramps n I've used it mainly on my calfs last night my foot felt like it was asleep or with no blood flow after a cramp that came a second time really strong.
