Levi Ray made it! birth story!!!

Sunday morning, i woke up like any other morning. Except we were getting ready for monday, the day i was going to be induced. I got up and Used the bathroom and felt a super goo.. Turned out to be my plug! So i made a few eggs with buttered toast, and i figured well might as well wait for my water to break, ill call the doc in a little bit. So then, my tummy started to feel tight on top.. So i didnt wait n i called to see what i should do. They said go in and get checked just in case. So i did. I was still 1cm 80% effaced. So before sending me home they checked to see if any waters were leakin.. Sure enough there was and they started my pitocin. They figured since i lost my plug at ten that my water broke atnoon 1230ish sunday. After 18hrs of irregular spaced contractions i got my epidural, at 12noon monday, they said i hax only dilated to a 3.5 and still was only 80% effaced. They told me at 2pm monday that if i wasnt at least an 8when the doc was coming to check again at 4that i would have a c sec. Well at four i was still 3.5. I had a c sec. Come to find out, he was faced up and had his cord around his neck. No wonder he wasnt decending! He was born at 4:26 he was 6lb 4oz and 19inches long. Healthy, not problems at all. We came home yesterday afternoon and everything is perfect. We are blessed and i thank god i didnt try to deliver him. He was already purple when he was born, i can only imagine wjat coukd have happened and thankful it didnt. :-) good luck to all you mommys who havent delivered. Xoxo
