Life Insurance Policies

I'm curious to know if I'm able to get life insurance on my child's father without his knowledge? We've discussed it but doesnt seem like he wants to do it. I have life insurance so I dont see tge harm in him getting onr as well. Our relationship is always back and forth so I want to have something set up for my baby in case anything were to happen to him because child support it won't be anything if I were to get it.

Child support is something you get if he is alive, life insurance is for in case he dies. not sure what you mean when you say you want life insurance because child support wouldn't be much? Thats kind of an alarming statement. I dont believe you can get it without his knowing s nd him signing. I also think it would be shady of you to do behind his back. If you are willing to pay the premium I dont see why he wouldn't agree.

My grandmother has life insurance on all of her children, grandchildren and their spouses. She was able to get it but we had to sign for it afterwards. So it's possible, but add others have suggested I would call an agent just be clear.

He also will have to more then likely also do a drug test. He will need to know. It's fraud to do it any other way besides with his permission.

You can't without his consent,  married or not.

I do think it is possible to insure some else's life even if you are not married, especially if you have the person's baby and the baby is the beneficiary of the policy.  This is a question anyone who sells life insurance could answer for you.  Drop into an agent's or call.  Of course, given that he is meh about it, you would have to pay the premiums.

If you are not married I would think no all around. If you are married I think you need to have his consent, because he has to sign the papers.
