Losing weight

So my dr told me that I am losing weight today at my appointment. I know its natural in the first trimester but my dr is concerned and says I need to start gaining. Problem is I am never hungry. I eat a small meal at lunch time and feel completely stuffed the rest of the day/night. Anyone have any suggestions?? I'm already high risk, I don't want anything else to happen too!

I too am loosing weight...I have no appetite but I am making myself eat and eating almost non stop but still have lost 10# (I'm 11wks)...try protein bars and protein shakes...and fruits and veggies. Good luck, hopefully you start gaining weight soon.

I had the same problem. I drank carnation instant breakfast shakes blended with ice cream in between meals. Eventually my appetite came back and my baby girl was as healthy as could be!

I'm taking my prenatals nightly... The meals I eat are small and I do try to make them nutritious. I tried eating tonight even though I wasn't hungry and ended up throwing it all up after only a few bites. I will try the protein shakes.

i would definetly eat. Your baby needs the nourishment. even if your not hungry id eat fruit, nuts and good nutritous snacks that wont make you feel so bloated. Almonds are a good source of fat but a healthy fat and calories. I hope your taking a prenatal vitamin because eating once a day will not nourish that baby. your want to eat 3 times a day and two snacks mini meals throughout the day. speaking you are getting full id eat mini meals.

Maybe try sipping on a proteine shake or two between meals? Some of them are pretty tasty!
