Maternity clothes

This is my first pregnancy so I've not really got much idea on what 'normal' clothes (if any) you can still get away with. I'm 20 weeks in a few days time & still able to wear leggings (and luckily my jeans at the moment). Could I wear my normal leggings throughout pregnancy or is it all depending on your bump size?

I'm in England & in the past have seen some shops sell elasticated waisted jeans but they look hideous lol. I shop in Primark (Ive never seen a maternity section in there), New Look, Select, sometimes George at Asda & anywhere else cheap lol.

What sort of clothes, particularly trousers, can u wear with a bump? I'm due in January so I doubt leggings will be warm enough in the winter. I normally just wear jeans in the winter. Also which shops have a good maternity range?

Thankyou ladies :-)

H&m do a good range of maternity clothing not a bad price either. With my first pregnancy i didn't put weight on during but ballooned after, i'm now expecting number2 and i'm huge so but I'm happy in pj's and not to leave the house much.

I'm England too and our clothes for maternity are rubbish and all dull horrible things. . I can still fit in to normal leggings and jeans at 29+6 weeks but I do have a couple of pairs of maternity leggings from new look which only cost 5.99 for 2 and they Are great on days where I need total comfort lol

If tou have a look on google there are sime Primarks with a maternity section. I knownin leeds we have a very small section where I got some jeans for about £8. I would just get some basics e.g. tshirts and trousers. I personally think new looks maternity section is great! Xx

I never really thought that you'd only be wearing them for a few months. I have one maxi dress (my other is too small on the bust for me now) but I can't really wear that in the winter, especially in the snow :-/ That's good to hear u could wear leggings. I might just have to put a pair of tights underneath to keep me warm cos I feel the cold really easily lol xx

I did not buy a lot of maternity clothes.  I ended up with a couple pairs of leggings and tops. The rest of the time, I just wore sundresses and maxi skirts/dresses I already own.

Maternity clothes is just too expensive for me to buy only to wear for a couple of months.
